Ian Taylor hails this immense Aston Villa ace after win against Wigan
By Amir Mir
Ian Taylor has hailed the “immense” Mile Jedinak after Aston Villa secured a 2-0 win against Wigan on Saturday afternoon at the DW Stadium.
Injuries have been piling up for Steve Bruce in recent weeks, therefore, midfield ace Jedinak was played in a centre-back role against the Latics.
Aside from one moment of madness, Jedinak was strong at the back throughout the game as he helped his team secure their fifth win in six matches and keep another clean sheet.
James Chester opened the scoring in the second half before substitute Scott Hogan, returning from injury, netted his first goal for the club following his big money move in January.
Former Villa midfielder Taylor was delighted that Bruce’s side secured yet another win going into the international break.

Villa have moved up to 12th in the Championship table on 51 points from their 38 matches with eight games of the season remaining.
After a poor January and February, Bruce has changed the club’s form around, including securing a number of clean sheets.
Since Jedinak returned to action in late February, Villa have picked up five wins and secured five clean sheets during those games.
They will be looking to continue their fine run when they take on Norwich on April 1 before hosting QPR in an evening game three days later.
In other Aston Villa news, this midfielder was 5/10 during the win against Wigan.
