Ian Taylor posts angry message after Aston Villa lose against Cardiff
By Amir Mir
Former Villa player Ian Taylor expressed his anger on Twitter as Aston Villa were beaten 1-0 at Cardiff on Monday afternoon.
Joe Ralls’ first half strike damaged Villa’s hopes of closing the gap on the top six in their race for promotion.
Steve Bruce’s side produced a poor display during the first period which resulted in midfield duo Ashley Westwood and Gary Gardner being substituted.
Their replacements, Aaron Tshibola and Gabby Agbonlahor made a difference after the break, but it was not enough for the away team.
After the game, former midfielder Taylor expressed his views on the defeat as posted on his personal Twitter account.

The defeat in Wales means, Villa drop down to 13th place in the Championship table as they currently have 35 points from their 25 games – seven points adrift of the top six.
This was the third time the Midlands side lost under Bruce with the other two instances also coming away from home against Leeds and Norwich.
Villa were without key striker Jonathan Kodjia for this game as the Ivory Coast international met up with his home country for the Africa Cup of Nations which begins on January 14.
Additionally, hard-hitting midfielder, Mile Jedinak also missed the fixture through illness as Bruce now prepares for their next match.
The Championship side travel to White Hart Lane on Sunday afternoon for a mouth-watering FA Cup clash against Premier League title chasers Tottenham.
