Ianis Hagi, Danilo react to Nico Raskin’s ‘home’ message amid Rangers exit news
Nico Raskin caught the attention of his Rangers teammates as speculation grows around the midfielder’s future at Ibrox.
The Belgian’s rise in Glasgow this season has been nothing short of incredible, quickly becoming the Light Blues’ most important player, which was proven against Aberdeen on Sunday, 11 May.
While the goals were scored by Vaclav Cerny, Cyriel Dessers, Hamza Igamane, and Jefte, the 24-year-old midfielder was just as key, grabbing two assists in a 4-0 win at Ibrox.
Having even done enough to earn his international debut with Belgium, Raskin has been heavily linked with a Rangers exit, and Football Insider understands that Leeds United are well placed for his signature.
The upcoming 49ers Enterprises‘ takeover at Ibrox has seen a lot of excitement build amongst the supporters, but it could also mean a lot of changes on the pitch ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.

Nico Raskin key to another Rangers victory
Taking to Instagram (12 May), Raskin wrote: “Nice day at home,” sharing images and videos from the Gers’ comfortable victory over Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership.
Ianis Hagi, Danilo, Mohamed Diomande, and Dujon Sterling all liked the post, while Neraysho Kasanwirjo, who Rangers fans are keen to see stay this summer, commented two heart emojis.
49ers Enterprises likely to force summer of change at Ibrox
Football Insider verdict
Given Raskin’s rise to fame at Ibrox this season, it is no surprise to see the interest in the 24-year-old ahead of the 2025/26 campaign, and Leeds’ promotion to the Premier League makes his exit even more likely.
It is unlikely, however, to be the only major change this summer, with Barry Ferguson’s future in huge doubt at Rangers as a shift in owners emerges.

Davide Ancelotti is the latest name to join the list of potential successors, though fans have been mostly excited by the prospect of Jose Mourinho becoming the next Rangers manager.
The new owners must be sensible with their appointments, especially in the boardroom, and some very difficult decisions must be made on whether to sell or keep the biggest names in the squad.
Many will be keen to sign Cerny permanently, though Igamane could be sold for big money if the right offer comes along, but there is plenty of deadweight in the squad to deal with first this summer.
