Ibrox sources: Juninho Bacuna passes Rangers medical after bid accepted
Rangers have finalised the signing of Juninho Bacuna from Huddersfield, Football Insider can exclusively reveal.
The 24-year-old midfielder has already passed a medical with the Glasgow giants and has agreed the terms of a contract.
Ibrox sources have told Football Insider that the announcement of the capture of Bacuna is now imminent as Steven Gerrard puts the finishing touches to the deal.
Rangers have had a bid accepted by Huddersfield for the midfielder, who is out of contract next year.
It is believed to be a long way short of the near-£5m valuation of the Transfermarkt site.
The Scottish champions have moved swiftly to complete the deal after Gerrard revealed at his media conference yesterday the club were closing in on a top target.

Bacuna has been identified as a player capable of strengthening the Rangers midfield.
The Dutch-born Curacao international has extensive top-level experience, with 10 caps for his country as well as more than 200 matches in the Premier League, Championship and Dutch Eredivisie.
The former Groningen star has spent the last three years at Huddersfield, where he has made 107 appearances in all competitions.
That includes 43 league games last season, which yielded five goals and four assists.
At Rangers, Bacuna will be competing with the likes of Glen Kamara, John Lundstram, Ryan Jack, Steven Davis, Scott Arfield and Joe Aribo for a place in Gerrard’s midfield.
They have had a poor start to the season in which they have been dumped out of the Champions League and seen their lengthy unbeaten Scottish Premiership run come to an end.
