Iliman Ndiaye poised to exploit major Fulham weakness as David Moyes shares Everton boost
Everton host Fulham in the Premier League on Saturday (November 8), and Iliman Ndiaye holds the key to victory.
The Senegalese international has been in stunning form for Everton this term, with four goals and one assist in 10 top-flight appearances.
Combining his powerful ball-carrying with fleet-footed dribbling, the 25-year-old is difficult to stop, and that was proven against Sunderland on Monday Night Football.
Ndiaye scored an incredible solo goal as Everton drew 1-1 against Sunderland before supporters feared the worst after watching him limp off.
Luckily, David Moyes has offered a positive update on his winger ahead of Fulham’s visit to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Iliman Ndiaye trains ahead of Everton vs Fulham
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Moyes confirmed that Ndiaye has trained ahead of this weekend’s fixture and is hopeful he will be ready to start.
“He’s fine, he’s trained today so hopefully everything’s okay.”

The former Sheffield United speedster has flourished as a right-winger in Everton’s system, with Moyes offering him license to drive inside centrally and wreak havoc on the flank.
That is why it’s pleasing to see that his knock appears to be nothing serious and should line up against Fulham, who will be without the injured Antonee Robinson.
Ndiaye, who wowed during October’s defeat to Manchester City, will fancy his chances of getting the better of Ryan Sessegnon in a one-vs-one situation.
As highlighted by FotMob, Sessegnon ranks in the 31st percentile for duels won, the 46th percentile for interceptions, and also commits over two fouls per 90 minutes.
So, that means Everton could get joy down the right flank against the Cottagers, but also in transition, where the visitors are particularly weak.

Fulham are vulnerable to the counterattack
In this showdown on Merseyside, Fulham will expect to dominate most of the ball, as they rank eighth in the Premier League for average possession this term (52.3%).
But Marco Silva’s possession-oriented style leaves them susceptible to counter-attacks, having conceded the joint-most goals this season (3) from direct attacks.
| Team | Goals Conceded From Direct Attacks |
| Fulham | 3 |
| Liverpool | 3 |
| Manchester United | 2 |
| Sunderland | 1 |
| West Ham United | 1 |
| Everton | 1 |
| Nottingham Forest | 1 |
The Cottagers have also conceded two goals from fast-breaks, the second joint-most in the top-flight, which highlights a weakness Ndiaye and Everton can exploit to earn all three points.
