‘Incredible’ – Chelsea fans will be delighted by what Carlo Ancelotti has just said about Estevao

Chelsea fans will be over the moon with what Brazil manager Carlo Ancelotti has had to say about Estevao.

The 18-year-old’s move to Stamford Bridge was announced back in June 2024, but he didn’t make the move from Palmeiras to West London until last summer.

So far this season, Estevao has been one of Chelsea’s most exciting players, thrilling fans whenever he has been on the pitch.

The winger has had his minutes restricted by Enzo Maresca, but still managed to grab the winner in a 2-1 victory over Liverpool.

Carlo Ancelotti sends Estevao message to Chelsea fans

On Saturday (15 November), Brazil faced Senegal in a friendly at the Emirates, with Estevao handed a start by Ancelotti.

The winger repaid the faith shown in him by the national team manager, opening the scoring for the South American side in the 28th minute.

Casemiro, whose future at Manchester United is in doubt, added a second just seven minutes later, with Brazil seeing the rest of the game out to confirm a 2-0 win.

Ancelotti was full of praise for Estevao in his post-match press conference, and even sent Chelsea fans a message about their exciting young attacker.

He said: “Estevao has an incredible amount of talent. It’s a surprise this level at his age. He’s good at finishing, has a lot of ‘magic’… and he works very hard.

“He’s a very talented player. He is able to show every game, in Chelsea too, and he doesn’t need a lot of minutes to show his quality. I think the Brazil national team is really lucky to have him, and also Chelsea.”

Chelsea looking to boost revenue

Meanwhile, Chelsea are exploring innovative ways to boost their revenues and take advantage of their prime location at Stamford Bridge, sources have told Football Insider.

BlueCo, which is spearheaded by chairman Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital, took over Chelsea from Roman Abramovich in May 2022, with the deal worth £4.25billion.

BBC Sport reported on 6 November that the Blues are offering premium members a chance to host a dinner party in the home dressing room at Stamford Bridge, with the experience costing £16,000 for up to 30 guests.

Sources say Chelsea’s location in west London – one of the most affluent areas in the country – provides them with a unique opportunity to offer new hospitality packages to boost their revenues.
