Insider issues ‘amazing’ Tottenham prediction as nervous fans told they’re ‘wrong’
Norwich will use Mura’s win against Tottenham as inspiration when they travel to North London on Sunday (5 December).
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Tottenham recorded back to back Premier League wins after cruising to a 2-0 victory against Brentford on Thursday (2 December).
Norwich are Spurs’ next opponents and travel to North London on the back of Tuesday’s (30 November) draw against bottom club Newcastle.
Wenham insists Tottenham will have too much for Norwich even if they try to repeat Mura’s shocking win.
“I will admit, teams will look at the Mura result and that could inspire them,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“But we play totally differently in the league, for me, that changes nothing.
“The team is always stronger, our best players will be playing and they can get the job done.
“In Europe, teams get excited and they play out of their skin against the bigger sides.
“In the Premier League, you play these teams twice every season, we know how to beat Norwich.
“Are they going to come in and produce some sort of amazing win? No.
“Their players may well take inspiration from it but anyone who thinks that Mura result will have anything to do with this weekend’s game, no way, that’s wrong.”

Spurs moved up to sixth in the Premier League after strolling to a win against Brentford.
Sergi Canos’ own goal came before a Heung-Min Son strike wrapped up all three points.
