Insider names six Tottenham youngsters set for first-team chance after ‘brilliant’ development
Tottenham have the perfect chance to give youngsters some valuable first-team minutes in the FA Cup this season.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
On six December it was revealed Tottenham will play League One outfit Morecambe at home in the third round of the FA Cup.
The game will take place on 9 January and presents a chance for some young stars to play competitive minutes for the first team.
Wenham claims there are six youngsters who could be given the chance to impress against Morecambe before heading out on loan.
“I am very pleased with the FA Cup draw,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“This is a brilliant opportunity to give some of our young players some first-team minutes.
“I’ve previously spoken about agreeing loan deals that will start on 1 January.
“With this game now in mind, it would be a brilliant chance to involve the likes of Harvey White, Maksim Paskotši, Brooklyn Lyons-Foster, Dilan Markanday, Dane Scarlet and Alfie Devine.
“I would certainly keep those players in the squad for that game.
“Hopefully we can get three of them starting and have three of them come off the bench.
“Then we can agree loan moves for them. I would 100% keep them around for that fixtures.”

Morecambe are 21st in League One, winning only one of their last five league ganmes.
Tottenham sit seventh in the Premier League.
