Early Rangers team news: January signing will not start v Aberdeen - Insider
Rangers striker Jason Cummings may have to wait a little bit longer to make his Gers debut with manager Graeme Murty only naming him as a substitute for Wednesday’s Scottish Premiership clash with Aberdeen, according to an Ibrox insider.
EstConsultancy, a reliable source of Rangers information, claimed on their Twitter account – after being asked by a Gers fan – that the 22-year-old would only make the bench after his arrival on loan from Nottingham Forest.

Cummings is one of four new signings at Ibrox so far this month as Murty and director of football Mark Allen overhaul the squad left behind by Pedro Caixinha following his sacking in October.
Jamie Murphy, Sean Goss and Russell Martin – Murty’s three other new signings – are all expected to start against the Dons at Ibrox as the Gers look to leapfrog Derek McInnes’ side into second-place in the Scottish Premiership.
Cummings only joined Forest over the summer but found his already limited chances of game-time further hindered after Mark Warburton was sacked and replaced by Aitor Karanka.
The 22-year-old scored four times in 17 appearances for Forest after an impressive return of 71 goals in 149 games at Hibs had earned him a move south.
Cummings also recently made his full Scotland debut when he played in November’s friendly with the Netherlands at Pittodrie.
In other Rangers news, fans have reacted after this midfield dynamo underwent a medical to complete his switch.
