Insider swipes at ‘Bielsa Ball’ as Tottenham predicted to ‘Pummel’ Leeds
Tottenham will “pummel” Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United on Sunday after dispelling “Bielsa ball” in last season’s meeting between the sides.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Tottenham welcome the Whites to North London on Sunday looking to give Antonio Conte a first win as boss.

Leeds are 15th in the Premier League table and have only won two games all season.
Tottenham strolled to a 3-0 win in last season’s edition of the tie and Wenham claims they will repeat that result this year.
He insists Spurs are suited to thrive against Bielsa’s style and claimed Leeds won’t lay a glove on Hugo Lloris’ goal.
“I’ll be totally honest, Leeds suit our style,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“I said this last year, apparently they had us under the spell of “Bielsa ball” or something like that.
“What even is that? They didn’t trouble us whatsoever. They might have had a few nice passes round the back but we were never in trouble.
“It’s going to be attack versus attack and ours is just better. That’s why we pummelled them 3-0 last season.
“I would expect a similar result this time. They give it all this “get into them” and “marching on together” but they shouldn’t be troubling us.

“When they beat us last season, we missed so many chances and it really annoyed me.
“I’m looking forward to playing them home and away this season and picking up six points.”
