Insider tells Tottenham fans to ‘keep a close eye on Irow’ as contract ‘expected’ to be offered
Ollie Irow will be included in next year’s Tottenham scholarship intake after impressing in the Under 16s this season.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Irow scored the only goal of the game as Tottenham’s Under 16s beat Ipswich Town’s Under 16s on 18 December.
Wenham has been wowed by the attacker’s performances this season.
He insists the youngster will be at the club next season along with the highly-rated Samuel Amo-Ameyaw.
“Irow is an Essex-born forward who has been doing very well for the Under 16s,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“I expect he will be in next year’s scholarship intake. He should be playing with the Under 18s next year.
“He should be one of the main forwards in that group along with a guy I have spoken about before, Samuel Amo-Ameyaw.
“It seems like we have another very good crop of players coming through at that age level.
“The Under 16s never seem to lose, which is obviously great to see.
“I have been very impressed with that group for some time now.
“Irow seems a very bright talent and he’s one I think fans should keep a close eye on.”

Football Insider revealed on 30 September that Tottenham have offered a scholarship contract to Amo-Ameyaw.
This came after he bagged four goals for Spurs in a 9-0 thrashing of Arsenal in the Premier League Under-17s Cup.
In other news, an Insider has told Football Insider how Tottenham are working on a deal to sign “unbelievable” player in January.
