Insider: Three Tottenham stars handed 'golden opportunity' to save their careers this week
Tanguy Ndombele, Harry Winks and Dele Alli all have the chance to revive their Tottenham careers this week.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
All three players will remain at Hotspur Way over the next two weeks as some of their teammates go on international duty.
None of the trio started in Conte’s first two games as Spurs boss but Winks and Ndombele were used as subs.
Oliver Skipp, who has started nine league games this season, will miss Tottenham’s next game through suspension.
Wenham insists Winks, Ndombele and Alli have the chance to stake a claim and earn a start against Leeds thanks to Skipp’s absence.

“Obviously, we know Skipp is going to miss the Leeds game,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“What an opportunity it is for some players to stake a claim. I’m looking at three players.
“Harry Winks, Tanguy Ndombele and Dele Alli. There is going to be a slot in that midfield and one of them can fill it.
“If they impress in training in the next two weeks, because none of them are going away, that could be the start of a revival.
“They are incredibly fortunate to be given this chance but they can’t ignore it.
“It’s exciting for them, they have to take this chance if they are serious about staying here.
“What a golden opportunity it could be for them.”
Tottenham lie ninth in the Premier League after their draw with Everton on Sunday.
Leeds are 15th after their weekend draw with Leicester.
