Insider tips Kane to start alongside teen sensation as Tottenham starting XI v Mura named

Tottenham are set to make a host of changes when they face NS Mura on Thursday night.

That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.

Antonio Conte’s side travel to Slovenia on Thursday looking to record back to back Conference League wins.

In 30 September’s 5-1 home win over Mura, Tottenham made plenty of changes though it was a Harry Kane hattrick off the bench that made the difference.

Wenham is expecting Conte to make several changes on Thursday and give some lesser-spotted players a chance to shine.

“I think Gollini will start in goal,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“I then think we will see Matt Doherty at right wing-back and Ryan Sessegnon and left wing-back.

“Tanganga, Rodon and Sanchez should be the three who take up the centre back positions even though none of them are left-footed.

“Oliver Skipp should come back in after missing the Leeds game through suspension.

“Obviously, that’s a boost but we shouldn’t really need one against Mura.

“I think Tanguy Ndombele will partner him and Dele Alli should come in to take that number 10 role.

“Upfront, I would have Harry Kane so he can build up some fitness and I would like to see Dane Scarlett partner him.”

Tottenham sit second in their Europa Conference League group, one point behind unbeaten Rennes.

The two sides will face off in the final round of group games on 9 December.
