Insider: Tottenham 'breaking protocol' to close in on 15-yr-old sensation signing
Tottenham have played a blinder after moving swiftly to offer talented youngster Samuel Amo-Ameyaw a scholarship.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Amo-Ameyaw, 15, scored for England Under 16s in a 3-2 win over Belgium on 4 November.
On 30 September, Football Insider revealed Tottenham have offered a scholarship contract to the schoolboy sensation.
The London giants typically offer scholarships around February or March, with the deals then starting on 1 June.
This came after the youngster bagged four goals against Arsenal in the Premier League Under-17s Cup in September.

Wenham insists Amo-Ameyaw’s continued goalscoring form proves Tottenham have done well to tie down another “top English talent”.
“He is very highly regarded,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“He played for England against Belgium and scored again. It seems he is popping up with a number of important goals.
“It’s pleasing that Tottenham have offered him this scholarship early. We normally offer them later on so this is a break of protocol if you like.
“I’m delighted and I expect he will stay at Tottenham to continue his development.
“But for all intents and purposes, it seems like the club have another top young English talent on their hands.
“That’s really pleasing to see, the fans love it and it speaks to the quality of our academy that we can attract and keep these quality players.”
Amo-Ameyaw is a versatile attacker who can play anywhere across the front three.
It is understood Tottenham are hoping Amo-Ameyaw could follow in the footsteps of the likes of Dane Scarlett, who only turned 17 in March but has already made seven first-team appearances.
