Attacking duo axed in Rodgers 4-4-2: Celtic best possible XI v Dundee
GOALKEEPER AND DEFENDERS
Craig Gordon (Goalkeeper) – Not in the best form recently but as there’s no other option available – Dorus de Vries is injured – he will continue as the number one goalkeeper
Mikael Lustig (Right-back) – Has had a poor spell but looked back to the player he can be in the match against Aberdeen as he scored the game’s opening goal
Kristoffer Ajer (Centre-half) – Perhaps Celtic’s best defender already, the 19-year-old hasn’t put a foot wrong so far when being called upon for first team duties, could well be a starter for years
Dedryck Boyata (Centre-half) – Struggling at the moment but still in better form that Jozo Simunovic which is why he is starting, has to cut out the lapses in concentration
Kieran Tierney (Left-back) – Was very good against Partick and Aberdeen after his poor performance against Hearts, seems to be back to his best but could still do with a rest now and then
