Ipswich Town are in advanced talks to sign Luton Town forward Chiedozie Ogbene, sources have told Football Insider.
All parties are confident a permanent deal can be finalised for the right winger before the August 30th transfer deadline day.
Ogbene was not in the Luton squad for their Carabao Cup game at QPR on Tuesday night as the two clubs continue to work on the deal.

Ogbene was primarily used as a right-wing back for Luton last season as they were relegated from the Premier League but prefers to be used higher up the pitch.
He made 36 appearances across all competitions for the Hertfordshire side last term, 25 of which were from the first whistle, scoring five goals and providing one assist in the process.
The Republic of Ireland international has started in all three of Luton’s Championship games so far this season but is yet to register a single goal or assist.

Ipswich are hoping the end the transfer window strongly and are looking to add a central defender to their ranks before deadline day.
