Crystal Palace player ratings against Liverpool
Dean Henderson – 8
He was superb in goal for Palace with excellent reactions and a swagger which instils confidence in his rearguard despite losing the clean sheet late on.
Chris Richards – 8
The American was formidable for the Eagles today with an undeniable hunger to cut out any sign of a Liverpool attack with swift interceptions and supremacy in duels.
Maxence Lacroix – 7
The Frenchman is part of a resolute Glasner defence and he didn’t put a foot wrong against the Reds even with the mounted pressure in the second half.

Marc Guehi – 7
The Reds prime target was unfazed by facing his prospective employers with a calm and collected defensive performance which included delightful cross-field passes.
Daniel Munoz – 8
The Colombian simply never tires as he ran relentlessly up and down the right flank to give the Eagles defensive coverage and an attacking outlet.
Adam Wharton – 9
The Englishman was a creative wizard against Liverpool as he masterfully manoeuvred his way around the pitch picking up four key passes.

Daichi Kamada – 2
The Japan international has struggled to adapt to life in England and the same worrying trend continued today as he was bombarded by the fury of the Reds’ attack.
The number 18 was loose with the ball and frequently lost possession which would have frustrated his manager.
Tyrick Mitchell – 6
Another one of Glasner’s reliable men, the left-back constantly offered himself moving forward as well as showing endurance in tracking back.
Ismaila Sarr – 10
Back into the side and back amongst the goals, the Senegalese looked back to his best after missing the last few games through injury as he netted the opener.
Yeremy Pino – 6
More is still to come from the young Spaniard who has the potential to be an excellent piece of business from Steve Parish and co.
The former Villarreal speedster worked hard behind Jean-Philippe Mateta and will become a mainstay in the Palace attack.
Jean-Philippe Mateta – 4
The Frenchman had a plethora of chances that weren’t taken and could’ve put the result beyond doubt if he was more clinical.
Mateta missed three big chances as well as hitting the woodwork on what was a frustrating afternoon.
Crystal Palace Substitutions:
Will Hughes – 4

Came on midway through the second half and did little to impact proceedings.
Jefferson Lerma – 4
The Colombian came on for the promising Yeremy Pino as another late change by Glasner.
Eddie Nketiah – 8
The former Arsenal man was brought on for the match winner Ismaila Sarr to help give some legs and protect the lead as he picked up a yellow card for being overeager on a tackle.
Yet, he proved to be decisive by bagging the winning goal for the Eagles in the dying moments of the game, simply remarkable.
Justin Devenny – 4
One to monitor for the future but had hardly any time to influence the game off the bench.
