‘It will get done’ – Top Everton source makes ‘£90m’ Tyler Dibling claim
Everton could be set to bring in Tyler Dibling from Southampton this summer and a top source has made a big claim.
The Toffees have made a number of bids for the young winger, with the latest being a £40million offer, which the Saints rejected.
However, the rumours have clearly caused a stir behind the scenes, with Dibling left out of the Southampton squad completely as they beat Wrexham 2-1 in the opening game of the season.
The 19-year-old was valued at £100million by the south coast side earlier this year, but they have now halved their asking price.
Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – believes that Dibling’s stock could rocket if he makes the move to Merseyside.

‘Everton to pay high price for Tyler Dibling’
This article contains exclusive comment from Keith Wyness, former Everton, Aston Villa, and Aberdeen CEO.
Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, Wyness insisted that £50million is a high price for Everton to pay to secure the services of Dibling.
Last season, the England under-21 international started 20 Premier League games for the Saints, scoring two goals.
Wyness added that if he makes the switch to Everton, Dibling could become a £90million player.
He told Football Insider‘s Inside Track podcast: “It’s an interesting level at that mid sort of £40million to £50million mark. And he’s either going to become an £80million or £90million player, or he’s one we’re going to have to sign off. We’re going to find out.
“He’s the right age and fits the age profile, so from that point of view it’s good.
“I’m not the data analyst and the scout looking at this one, but I do think it’s at the high side of what they could have done price-wise, but I think it will get done.”

Everton move for young full-back
Meanwhile, Everton are plotting a move for Norwich right-back Kellen Fisher, sources have told Football Insider.
The 21-year-old made 41 appearances for the Canaries last season, assisting four times, and is now on the radar of a Toffees side in the midst of a full-scale overhaul under David Moyes.
Fisher is capable of playing at left-back and in the centre of midfield, but is most comfortable at right-back.
The young defender has been capped three times for England’s Under-20 side and came off the bench in the closing stages of Norwich’s opening day 2-1 loss to Millwall on Saturday, 9 August.
