Italian giants make contact for Celtic 20-year-old - reliable journalist
By Derek Smithson
Italian giants AC Milan have made contact with Celtic in an attempt to sign striker Moussa Dembele, according to a reliable journalist.
Sky Sports Italy correspondent Gianluca Di Marzio claimed on his personal website that Milan are currently in talks with the Bhoys about the 20-year-old.
It is understood that Milan are looking to bolster their frontline in the summer with the likes of Alvaro Morata, Andrea Belotti and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang on their radar.
Dembele’s fantastic form in Scotland this season has not gone unnoticed across Europe and the Frenchman is being tipped for great things in the future.
The young forward has been a key part of Celtic’s success this season and manager Brendan Rodgers has confirmed he will be available for the Scottish Cup final against Aberdeen on Saturday.

He will be hoping to guide his side to a domestic treble and he has enjoyed a meteoric rise since his move from Championship club Fulham last summer.
Dembele has made 49 appearances across all competitions, scoring 32 goals and supplying nine assists in return.
The France Under-21 international managed to surpass Leigh Griffiths as the first-choice striker and Celtic will be desperate to keep hold of their key man in the summer.
Football Insider verdict:
Dembele is undoubtedly set to move on from Celtic Park in the future and has the potential to become a European star, but it would be in his best interest to stay for at least another year. The 20-year-old has developed immensely under Rodgers’ guidance in the last 12 months and he could get even better with another year under his belt. The youngster is not guaranteed first team football if he makes a move to a European giant and should perhaps enjoy another year in Scotland. He has proven himself to be prolific in front of goal and would also have Champions League football next season if he stays with Celtic, something that Milan would not be able to offer.
