Alan Hutton claims that Brentford winger Said Benrahma could prove to be an “unbelievable signing” for West Ham.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider assistant editor Russell Edge, the former Aston Villa and Scotland star insists the 25-year-old can shine where the likes of Felipe Anderson have failed.
As reported by Sky Sports, West Ham have agreed a deal worth up to £30million for the Algeria international as they look to complete the move before Friday’s domestic transfer deadline.

Benrahma netted 17 goals and contributed another 10 assists for Brentford last season, while he has already scored twice in three appearances this term.
Hutton admits West Ham have signed a number of disappointing wingers and that the Algerian ace could bring some extra quality to David Moyes’ side.
Hutton told Football Insider: “I think he’s a fantastic player, there’s no doubting his ability, he was an absolute standout last season. It’d be an unbelievable signing
“I think if you look at the amount of money West Ham have spent on their wingers – Felipe Anderson, Fornals and all these kind of guys – they’ve not hit the ground running.
“Jarrod Bowen came in, I think he’s been outstanding, they’ve got Antonio too but if one of these guys got injured, it’s like who comes in?”
Benrahma has scored a total of 27 times and chipped in with 24 assists in his 83 Championship appearances to date.
After disappointing defeats to Newcastle United and Arsenal, West Ham have beaten Wolves and Leicester City 4-0 and 3-0 respectively this season.
