It’s Official: Tottenham senior figure quits as new hire heads in

Tottenham have confirmed the appointment of Vinai Venkatesham and the departure of Donna-Maria Cullen, sources have told Football Insider.

As per a Companies House submission on Monday (2 June), it has been revealed Cullen has seen her role as executive director officially terminated at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The 62-year-old, who was a close ally of chairman Daniel Levy, worked as an advisor for Spurs for 14 years before being appointed to the board in 2006.

Levy has praised her “immense contribution” to the north London giants during that time, with the former director playing an integral role in facilitating the club’s move from White Hart Lane to the new stadium.

Alongside Cullen’s departure, Tottenham have confirmed Venkatesham has been officially appointed as a director.

The 44-year-old has taken up the position of CEO at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, having previously worked in the same role at north London rivals Arsenal between 2020 and 2024.

Spurs’ board now consists of Levy, Venkatesham, Matthew Collecott, Peter Charrington and Jonathan Turner.

Daniel Levy could take step back after Tottenham arrival

Former Everton CEO Keith Wyness told Football Insider Venkatesham’s arrival could see Levy take a step back at Tottenham.

The Spurs chairman and majority owner ENIC have come under fire from fans for their running of the club in recent times.

Levy has been in talks to sell a minority stake in the Premier League side at a £3.75billion valuation.

Qatari investors have been linked with a Tottenham takeover, but a deal is yet to be agreed with any interested parties.

Spurs’ accounts for 2023-24 revealed their turnover fell from £549.6million in 2022-23 to £528.2million.
