Jack Collison delivers verdict on West Ham signing
By Dominic Toner
Jack Collison has described Robert Snodgrass as a “fantastic signing” for West Ham after he completed a move to the London Stadium.
The 29-year-old joined the Hammers on Friday on a three-and-a-half year deal and his fee could rise to £10.2million.
He has decided to leave relegation-threatened Hull after being their talisman this season.
The Scotland international made 24 appearances for the Tigers this campaign, scoring nine goals and supplying four assists.
Former West Ham midfielder Collison hailed the deal for Snodgrass and thinks he will be a great addition to the squad.

West Ham have managed to recover from a poor start to the season where they seemed like relegation candidates, to propel themselves up the Premier League table.
Slaven Bilic’s side are up to 10th-place in the table and Snodgrass is the second player to join in the January window.
The Londoners also managed to capture former Southampton captain Jose Fonte and the centre-back should add some vital experience to the defence.
Snodgrass arrives at the Hammers with a wealth of experience and has shown he has the quality to impress in the top-flight.
The Scotland international is particularly useful from set-pieces and is often dangerous with his left foot from free-kicks.
In other West Ham news, Dimitri Payet has snubbed the club yet again in a bid to expedite his transfer.
