Jack Grealish and Morgan Rogers react to Noni Madueke’s message after ‘shocking’ claim

Noni Madueke had an update for the Chelsea supporters despite a disappointing display against Man United.

The Blues climbed into fourth place in the Premier League after securing a crucial three points against Manchester United in the race for Champions League qualification.

Marc Cucurella scored the only goal for Chelsea following a brilliant piece of play from Reece James, after a fantastic turn before delivering a pinpoint cross for the Spaniard to head home.

Despite the win, Madueke had a poor performance for Chelsea — the standout moment being his shocking miss after Cole Palmer played him through on goal. The winger had time and space but sliced his effort wide of Andre Onana’s right-hand post.

Still, Madueke offered an update to the supporters afterwards, sharing a post that prompted reactions from fellow players across the league.

Tottenham and Aston Villa eye summer move for Noni Madueke

Despite a poor showing against United, Madueke posted a matchday update with several photos highlighting Chelsea’s crucial victory.

The post attracted a wave of support, with Jack Grealish, Morgan Rogers, and Reece James among those who liked it.

Madueke also responded to his shocking miss in the match, vowing to put in “finishing practice” as a way to bounce back.

However, doubts remain over his long-term future at Stamford Bridge. Football Insider previously reported that Madueke is increasingly likely to leave Chelsea this summer, with Tottenham and Aston Villa both expressing serious interest.

That speculation follows earlier claims that incoming manager Enzo Maresca has reservations about Madueke’s attitude, amid frustrations from the player over an inconsistent role in the side.

Despite limited minutes, he has still managed 11 goals and five assists across all competitions this season, accumulating 2,272 minutes of action.

While a move didn’t materialise in the January window, it’s now understood that United could be open to offers, potentially paving the way for a switch to West London.
