Jack Grealish bids farewell after confirmed Man City exit news
Man City winger Jack Grealish took to social media to say his goodbyes to former teammate Kyle Walker after he left the club.
Walker, 34, joined AC Milan on a six-month loan deal with an option to buy for £4.2million after asking to leave the current Premier League champions in early January.
The right-back had been omitted from City’s last four squads entirely, with his last appearance for the club coming in their 4-1 Premier League win over West Ham.
The England international left City having made 319 appearances for the club over a seven-and-half-season period captaining the side for last season’s historic fourth consecutive Premier League title.
Walker had struggled at City before his departure, starting 11 of his 18 games across all competitions, and failing to provide a goal contribution in his 1159 minutes of action.

Grealish, 29, and Walker enjoyed a trophy-laden three-and-a-half years at the club together, winning three Premier League titles, one FA Cup, and a Champions League.
Much like Walker, Grealish has struggled over the course of the season, starting 11 of his 22 games across all competitions, scoring two goals, and providing four assists in his 1108 minutes of action.
The winger took to Instagram to say goodbye to his friend and former teammate, saying: “What an absolute LEGEND! I wish you all the best on your next chapter skip!! Been a pleasure to play with you these last 4 years! My brother for life.”
Pep Guardiola’s side will face Chelsea on Saturday (January 25) in what could be a crucial game for both side’s Champions League ambitions.
City will then host Belgian side Club Brugge on Wednesday (January 29) with their hopes of progressing in Europe’s elite club tournament hanging in the balance.
