Jack Grealish cited as ‘surprise’ Man United move on the cards – Agbonlahor
Jadon Sancho has a higher ceiling than Marcus Rashford and Jack Grealish if he can realise his potential at Man United.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor has claimed that Man United should keep Sancho at the club, as if the player knuckles down he can be a guaranteed starter.
Football Insider exclusively revealed on (27 June) that a surprise Man United exit for Jadon Sancho is possible this summer.
With the rumoured takeover of the club dragging on, it is believed club chiefs are now exploring alternative ways to raise funds for their summer transfer business.
As such, a well-placed source has told Football Insider that the Red Devils could reluctantly consider accepting offers for Sancho this summer – just two years after his move from Borussia Dortmund.
With a potential move on the cards, Agbonlahor thinks that United should keep Sancho at the club.
“Sancho has not done enough since joining Man United,” He told Football Insider.
“He knows this is the case, as we have seen him come off Instagram and social media.
“He has to knuckle down and say he is still Jadon Sancho, and he is the player that Manchester United spent a lot on to sign from Dortmund.
“He needs to get back to basics, play easy passes and take players on.
“Watch Jack Grealish and watch Marcus Rashford and these other young English wingers, and be proving himself that he is better than those, as he is better.
“There is a chance to break into that Manchester United side , as he is better than Anthony, he just needs to knuckle down and get back to his best.”
