Man City are in the midst of their worst season during Pep Guardiola’s tenure at the Etihad Stadium, and despite their FA Cup success the negative news isn’t slowing down.
City managed to keep their hopes of winning a trophy alive for the season on Saturday (1 March) as they defeated Plymouth Argyle in the FA Cup.
The Premier League giants booked their place in the quarter-finals after coming back from behind due to a Nico O’Reilly brace and a late goal from Kevin De Bruyne.
However, City still remain fourth-placed in the Premier League table and could end up dropping out of the top four this weekend if they fail to beat Nottingham Forest and Chelsea win their game.
Injuries to the likes of Rodri and Oscar Bobb have impacted City’s campaign, while several star players have also struggled to find their best form throughout the season.
Phil Foden hasn’t managed to recapture his PFA Player of the Year qualities that he showed during the 2023-24 campaign, while record signing Jack Grealish has flattered to deceive.

The £100million winger has struggled to showcase any of the qualities that fans know he is capable of, which has led to limited game time throughout the season.

Now, footage of the England international stumbling out of a bar on Sunday night after spending time in a pub, has been leaked online by the Mail.
This isn’t the first time an incident like this has occurred, with Grealish having built up the reputation of being a ‘lad’ due to how hard he infamously celebrated after City won the treble.

Grealish might be having a good time away from the pitch, but his performances on it are failing to hit the standards that City fans are looking for.
Industry insider Mick Brown exclusively revealed to Football Insider that Grealish is seen as a sellable asset heading into the summer transfer window, and he could be moved on to make room for new additions.
After seeing the footage of him from Sunday night that is what many fans are hoping for as they called for City to “terminate his contract.”
