Jack Grealish reacts to Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka as Man City exit beckons
Jack Grealish has reacted to an update shared by Arsenal star Bukayo Saka amid the news that he is set to leave Manchester City.
The former Aston Villa man was handed just seven Premier League starts by Pep Guardiola last season, and did not make Man City’s Club World Cup squad.
Amid his lack of game time for the Manchester City, Grealish was able to notch just one goal and one assist in the top flight last term.
Meanwhile, fellow England international Saka remains a key man for Arsenal, and is set to help the Gunners in their quest to win the Premier League title next term.

Having fallen down the pecking order at the Etihad Stadium, Grealish is set to leave Man City ahead of next season.
Meanwhile, Arsenal star Saka took to Instagram on Sunday, 6 July as he shared photos of himself training in the gym.
The post attracted a like from Grealish, who will have to enjoy more game time next term to join Saka in England’s 2026 World Cup squad.
Saka set to hit new level at Arsenal amid significant Viktor Gyokeres news
Football Insider verdict
While fellow England international Grealish endured a disappointing campaign with Manchester City last season, Saka thrived for Mikel Arteta’s men.
Jack Grealish stats | Premier League 2024/25 |
Appearances (Starts) | 20 (7) |
Goals | 1 |
Assists | 1 |
The 23-year-old scored 12 goals and created 13 assists in 37 appearances across all competitions for the Gunners last term, helping them finish second in the Premier League and reach the Champions League semi-finals.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are set to sign Viktor Gyokeres, who enjoyed a prolific season for Portuguese club Sporting last season, scoring 54 goals in 52 appearances.
While Saka’s attacking output is already strong, the Gunners academy graduate will hit new heights when he plays alongside one of Europe’s best strikers.
The winger has been a key asset for the North Londoners in the final third in recent seasons, even though Arteta’s side lack an out-and-out striker.
But Gyokeres’ increasingly imminent arrival will see Saka producing more assists next season, with the Sweden international set to perform in the Premier League.
