Jack Grealish posts video of his holiday antics abroad hours after Man City axe

Man City were held to a frustrating draw against Brighton on Saturday (15 March) and Jack Grealish has wasted little time putting that result behind him.

Pep Guardiola’s team let two leads slip against the Seagulls after initially taking the lead through an Erling Haaland penalty, only for Pervis Estupinan to equalise.

Omar Marmoush then put City back ahead in the 39th minute, but once again they were unable to hold on to the lead as Abdukodir Khusanov scored an own goal.

The game could have panned out very differently as Kaoru Mitoma’s opener ended up being ruled out for Brighton, as the Seagulls caused the defending Premier League champions all sorts of problems throughout the game.

The draw has left City in a difficult position when it comes to earning Champions League football as they remain in fifth place.

Guardiola’s team have opened the door to Newcastle to overtake them as the Magpies now sit just one point behind them with a game in hand.

Jack Grealish overlooked by Man City and England

Grealish was an unused substitute in the draw against Brighton, the fifth time in the last seven Premier League matches that he has not even been called from the bench, as the winger continues to struggle to break into Guardiola’s misfiring team.

However, he has seemingly quickly put his latest omission behind him. He’s already flown out of England to enjoy a holiday, sharing a video of himself on the beach on Sunday morning.

Jack Grealish’s Man City future is up in the air

Grealish has had a season to forget personally as he has struggled for form, which has led to him falling out of Guardiola’s team as questions over his professionalism have been raised by fans due to his partying antics.

Football Insider revealed that Grealish will have multiple suitors this summer if he ends up leaving the Etihad Stadium.

The former Aston Villa star has only started six Premier League games this season with Guardiola making it clear he wants more from the 29-year-old.
