Jack Grealish responds to message from ex-Aston Villa star after Man City latest

Man City ace Jack Grealish responded to former Aston Villa teammate Jordan Graham after their 2-1 FA Cup win over Leyton Orient on Saturday (February 8).

The 29-year-old played the full 90 minutes for Man City, providing the assist for Kevin de Bruyne’s winner as the Premier League holders edged past League One Leyton Orient.

Tottenham loanee Jamie Donley will doubtless feel aggrieved after his lob was awarded as a Stefan Ortega own goal, opening the scoring for the home side after just 16 minutes.

Spurs fans will have loved Donley’s performance as he follows Harry Kane, who also spent time on loan at the East London club.

Abdukodir Khusanov finally scored the equaliser after Rico Lewis’ effort deflected off him and into the back of the net before De Bruyne came off the bench to secure the win.

Grealish starred in the win over Leyton Orient but has ultimately struggled this season, starting 12 of his 23 games across all competitions, scoring two goals, and providing five assists in his 1198 minutes of action.

Graham, 29, took to Instagram to share an image of himself and Grealish, saying: “A whole 20 years ago we started this journey!!! The England international also took to social media to send a message to the Man City fans after a closer-than-expected game against Leyton Orient.
