Jack Grealish sends emotional message to Beto after Everton striker sinks Chelsea: ‘So happy’
Jack Grealish couldn’t hide his joy on social media following a masterclass up front from Everton‘s Beto against Chelsea.
The Toffees sealed their biggest win over the Blues since 1987, firing three unanswered goals past their opponents at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Saturday, 21 March.
Beto, who had four Premier League goals before the game, bagged a brace, and possibly could have had his hat-trick with Robert Sanchez in goal, before Iliman Ndiaye put the nail in Chelsea’s coffin.
It meant that Everton secured their 13th win of the season, moving within three points of fifth place, currently occupied by Liverpool, with the Merseyside derby up soon.

It was also the striker’s first time notching three goal contributions in a single Premier League game, grabbing the assist for Ndiaye’s late third at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Of course, Grealish remains on the sidelines, with uncertainty over his future due to only being on loan with the Toffees, but he continues to support his temporary teammates from his sofa.
Taking to Instagram stories (21 March), Grealish wrote: “So happy for this guy. One of the most hard-working players I know!! Gwarnnnn Beto,” with blue love heart emojis.

David Moyes also deserves a lot of credit for creating such a positive atmosphere in the dressing room, and it appears to be paying off, with European qualification well and truly on the cards.
What did Jack Grealish make of Everton’s overall performance?
Mick Brown told Football Insider that Grealish is likely to want to stay at Everton once his loan spell comes to an end in the summer, and that is evident in how he acts in and around the club.
Watching the game from home, while continuing his rehabilitation, the winger wrote on social media: “That whole game was just a pleasure to watch!! Unreal UTFT,” with blue love hearts.
Although he can’t play any role on the pitch until the end of the season, his teammates will absolutely appreciate his support from the sidelines, and so will the home supporters.
Man City fans still hold a lot of love for the 30-year-old, but all parties have already accepted that his time at the Etihad Stadium has come to an end after four trophy-winning seasons.
