Jack Grealish sends ‘final’ message to Man City fans after they destroy him
Jack Grealish responded to Man City fans following criticism of him during their win over Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup.
Man City booked their place in the FA Cup final after a routine 2-0 win at Wembley against Nottingham Forest on 27 April.
Rico Lewis opened the scoring within just two minutes, and the second half saw Josko Gvardiol double the lead with a powerful header to secure the victory for Pep Guardiola’s side.
However, despite the win, Man City fans were critical of Grealish’s performance, feeling he failed to make a significant impact after returning to the starting XI.
Despite the criticism, Grealish had a message for the supporters as he prepares for another major final with the team. Posting after the match, he shared his gratitude and excitement, choosing to focus on the opportunity ahead rather than dwell on the negativity.
Man City face important decision over Jack Grealish ahead of summer transfer window
The Englishman posted on Instagram after the win, sharing photos from the full-time celebrations alongside the caption: “Another final with this unbelievable club!!”
He received plenty of support from fellow players, with Erling Haaland, goalscorer Lewis and Arsenal’s Declan Rice among those liking the post.
It has been a challenging season for the winger, who has managed just three goals across all competitions, with two coming in the FA Cup.
Football Insider revealed that his underwhelming displays have left Man City open to selling Grealish at the end of the season, as he is no longer viewed as part of Guardiola’s long-term plans.
His performance against Nottingham Forest did little to boost his standing, despite being handed a rare start to impress.
Man City supporters have previously voiced their frustrations with Grealish’s displays, particularly with Savinho and Jeremy Doku stepping up impressively on the flanks.
The 29-year-old has ultimately slipped down the pecking order, starting just seven Premier League games all season.

Kevin De Bruyne weighing Aston Villa move amid Man City exit
Grealish may be among the high-profile names set to leave this summer, with Kevin De Bruyne also already confirming to be leaving the side.
Aston Villa are understood to be preparing a move for De Bruyne, although the Belgian also has lucrative options elsewhere, with a transfer to Saudi Arabia still a possibility.
It remains to be seen where the Man City legend will end up, but what is certain is that a major rebuild is looming at the Etihad this summer.
