Jack Grealish shares seven-player Man City training ground update pre-Arsenal

Man City star Jack Grealish took to social media to share a training ground update ahead of their crucial Premier League tie with Arsenal on Sunday (February 2).

The 29-year-old didn’t make it off the bench in City’s 3-1 comeback Champions League win over Club Brugge on Wednesday (January 29) as Pep Guardiola’s side narrowly clinched a play-off place.

Grealish’s failure to get on the pitch against Club Brugge has cast some serious doubt on his future at the current Premier League champions, but one Sky Sports pundit believes a number of top clubs would love to sign him.

Despite the win, Guardiola came under fire for one ‘unbelievably dangerous’ decision that nearly cost them the game against the Belgian club.

City are set to play Real Madrid in their two-legged play-off having finished 22nd in the new-look league phase with just 11 points from their eight games.

The England international has struggled for City this season, starting 11 of his 22 games across all competitions, scoring two goals, and providing four assists in his 1108 minutes of action.

City appear to have navigated their way through a rocky patch of form at the end of 2024, re-entering the top four with a 3-1 win over Chelsea in their previous league fixture.

Grealish appears to be all smiles despite his lack of minutes, taking to Instagram to share a training ground update featuring seven City players including himself ahead of their game with Arsenal.

Football Insider revealed (January 31) that Man City are hoping to continue their busy January transfer window, with Juventus defender Andrea Cambiasso keen on a move to the Premier League.

Keith Wyness exclusively told Football Insider that City have ‘plenty of headroom’ in regards to PSR despite their heavy spending.
