Jack Grealish shares training update as he leads Man City trio exodus

Jack Grealish has been subject to plenty of speculation this summer as he is widely expected to leave Man City before the start of next season.

The 29-year-old started just seven league games last time out in a hugely underwhelming season which saw him score three goals and provide five assists in 32 total appearances.

Having been left out of the club’s Club World Cup squad, there is a growing feeling that it is only a matter of time until his departure is finalised.

Football Insider exclusively revealed in May that Grealish does not expect to stay at City next season and has told friends he has been “frozen out” by Guardiola.

However, he remains determined to return to playing regular football at the top level as he aims to establish himself in Thomas Tuchel’s England plans.

More recently, Football Insider revealed on 15 July that Grealish’s exit may not be finalised until late in the window given the finances involved in any deal.

Amid the ongoing speculation surrounding his future, Grealish has remained active across social media, often demonstrating his efforts to stay in shape.

During his summer break, the forward has often posted footage running, in the gym and playing football, showing potential suitors that he is remaining fit in preparation for a move.

This comes in clear contract to his usual partying lifestyle and reputation, which many suggest is part of the reason Man City plan to sell Grealish.

Taking to Instagram, the England international has now shared a short clip of a football pitch on his holiday, once again remaining active while away from City.

Pep Guardiola to push for three-man exodus from the Etihad

Grealish is not the only fringe player expected to leave City this summer, as Guardiola continues to eye a mass overhaul of his first-team squad.

Football Insider revealed on 11 July that Grealish is leading a three-man exodus from the Etihad, alongside Kalvin Phillips and James McAtee.

The English trio have found themselves on the unwanted list at City and are all expected to find permanent destinations before the transfer window closes.

While Phillips’ destination remains up in the air, Football Insider revealed that McAtee is attracting plenty of interest from Premier League and Bundesliga clubs.
