Jack Grealish told to quit Man City immediately after ‘worst’ news – Fans react

Jack Grealish has been told to leave Man City by fans as questions grow about his place in the England squad after his poor displays.

The 28-year-old will compete with the likes of Anthony Gordon, Ebere Eze, Jarrod Bowen and James Maddison for a place in Gareth Southgate’s team despite having previously been a nailed-on choice.

Grealish played 36 games across all competitions for Man City in the just-finished season, averaging 58 minutes per game while scoring three goals and providing three assists.

Football Insider revealed in April that City are willing to listen to offers for the 28-year-old this summer, with Aston Villa more recently credited with an interest.

Fans warned that, as a result of his performances, he should leave City in search of regular game time to get back into Southgate’s plans.

Many insisted Grealish should be cut out of the squad, while fans called for City to cash in on him this summer after a difficult season.

One City supporter even suggested that being left out of the England squad could see his career nosedive in “the worst thing” for him.

One fan, however, warned that missing out on the England squad could be the “worst thing to happen to him” at this stage of his career.

Many, though, insisted he should be axed from Southgate’s side.

In other news, Kevin de Brunye could follow Pep Guardiola out of Man City.
