Jack Harrison says he will ‘be back at Everton’ in message to fans after transfer news

Everton extended their undefeated run in the Premier League to eight games on Saturday (8 March) as they shared the points with Wolves at Molineux Stadium.

David Moyes’ side took the lead in the 33rd minute through Jack Harrison, who had a deflected shot nestle in the back of the net.

However, just seven minutes later Marshall Munetsi equalised for Wolves and the two teams then battled out a 1-1 draw as neither was able to take full advantage.

The result continued Everton’s impressive run since Moyes made his sensational return to Goodison Park which has pulled the team away from the relegation zone.

The Merseyside giants now sit 14th in the Premier League table and are level on points with Tottenham above them.

They will be back in action on Saturday (15 March) against West Ham United in the Premier League.

Jack Harrison reflected on Everton’s draw

Harrison’s goal was his first of the season in the Premier League after what has been a frustrating personal season for the winger in terms of attacking output.

The 28-year-old has played 24 times in the league this season, and he took to Instagram to reflect on finally getting out of his rut in front of goal.

He said, “Finally!! Made up to be back in the goals, disappointed not to win. Thank you to my teammates, the staff and fans for all the support. See you back at Goodison next week.”

David Moyes has made a decision on Jack Harrison’s future

Harrison might have got himself amongst the goals this weekend in the Premier League, but his future might not be in the English top flight.

Football Insider revealed that Harrison is unlikely to be bought by Everton on a permanent transfer, with Moyes opting to let him go when his loan period ends after this season.

That will result in Harrison returning to his home club Leeds United, and while they sit at the top of the Championship a failure to earn promotion would see the winger playing in the second tier.
