Jadon Sancho: Big update on Man United star’s future – sources
Man United plan to sell Jadon Sancho permanently this summer, sources have told Football Insider.
It is believed that the Premier League giants will sanction a permanent departure for the attacker if prospective clubs meet their price demands.
The 23-year-old moved back to Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund on loan in the January transfer window after a public falling out with manager Erik ten Hag.
A senior United source has told Football Insider that Man United will have to sell assets to fund new arrivals, meaning Sancho will be one of many stars up for sale.
Man United are expected to listen to offers for Jadon Sancho
He moved to United from Dortmund in the summer of 2021 for a reported £73million, but failed to make a significant impact across his two-and-a-half years at Old Trafford.
Dortmund’s deal to get Sancho temporarily did not include an option to buy, meaning ten Hag’s side are expected to listen to offers from other clubs should interest arise.
Sancho’s contract with United, which earns him a reported £290,000-a-week, is set to expire in 2026.
Across 82 appearances in all competitions, Sancho scored 12 goals and provided six assists for the Red Devils.
Since his return to Germany, he has yet to score but has provided two assists in five outings.

Man United sit sixth in the Premier League table after four consecutive wins – most recently against Luton Town on Sunday (18 February).
They are next in action against Fulham at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon (24 February).
