Jadon Sancho breaks social media silence after Man United sack Ten Hag

Chelsea ace Jadon Sancho has posted on social media for the first time since former manager Erik ten Hag was sacked by Man United.

Ten Hag was relieved of his duties last Monday (October 29) and is set to be replaced by Sporting CP boss Ruben Amorim after the November international break.

The 24-year-old departed Old Trafford for Stamford Bridge on transfer deadline day in a loan arrangement, set to become a permanent £25million transfer at the end of the season.

Sancho has refound some form in West London, providing three assists in just 307 Premier League minutes so far this season.

Per the loan agreement, the winger didn’t feature in the 1-1 draw at Old Trafford on Sunday (November 3) as he’s not permitted to play against Man United, his parent club.

Bruno Fernandes opened the scoring from the penalty spot before Moises Caicedo equalised with an exquisite volley in the first Premier League game of the post-Ten Hag era.

Jadon Sancho refuses to acknowledge Erik ten Hag after Chelsea move

It was widely reported that Sancho and Ten Hag had a frosty relationship after the winger refused to apologise to the Dutchman for publically criticising him.

Sancho was then shipped out on loan to former club Borussia Dortmund for the second half of last season, where he reached the Champions League final.

Instead of acknowledging his former manager, Sancho took to Instagram to wish ex-Dortmund teammate Achraf Hakimi a happy birthday.

Chelsea’s tough run of Premier League fixtures continues as they prepare to face Arsenal at Stamford Bridge on Sunday (November 10).

Interim boss Ruud van Nistelrooy will be hoping to keep their unbeaten run going as Man United face Greek side PAOK in the Europa League on Thursday (November 7).
