Jadon Sancho swap deal: Aston Villa ex-star tipped to join Man United – ‘he is perfect’
Manchester United have been tipped to include Jadon Sancho in a swap deal this summer.
Sancho is expected to leave Old Trafford ahead of next season, after a tumultuous four-year spell at the club.
After falling out of favour at United, the 25-year-old has been out on loan for the past two campaigns, first at Borussia Dortmund and then at Chelsea.
The winger has been linked with a permanent move back to Dortmund, as well as a potential switch to Italian giants Juventus.
Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – believes that Man United could benefit from selling Sancho to Juventus by agreeing a swap deal.

‘Man United must get rid of poisonous Sancho’
Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, Wyness insisted that Douglas Luiz would be the “perfect player” for Man United if they could include him in a deal which would see Sancho go the opposite way.
Luiz made the switch to Italy from Aston Villa last summer, but has failed to impress in Turin and has been linked with a move back to the Premier League.
Wyness added that there are a number of Juventus players who would make a swap deal worthwhile for the Red Devils.
He told Football Insider‘s Inside Track podcast: “A swap could absolutely be of interest. I’ve seen three players mentioned: Timothy Weah, Dusan Vlahovic, and Douglas Luiz, who I know from his Villa days.
“Look, any one of those would be better for them than the relationship with Sancho, which is poisonous at the moment, another byproduct of the present handling at Man United.
“In particular, Douglas Luiz would be very, very good for them in midfield. He’s a proven Premier League player, underrated, and a really good, hard-working engine, and a good talent.
“I think he’d be the perfect player for Man United. He wouldn’t be awed at all by the scale of the club. He’s done it at Juventus and Villa.
“Timothy Weah is one that a lot of clubs have shown interest in. So any one of those three should be the right level now.”

‘Man United plot eye Chelsea attacker’
Meanwhile, Man United are reportedly still interested in a deal to sign Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku this summer.
That is according to their former chief scout Mick Brown, who claims that the 27-year-old will leave Stamford Bridge as he has no role under Enzo Maresca.
However, the deal may depend on whether Ruben Amorim’s side can complete a deal for Bryan Mbeumo amid question marks about Nkunku’s position.
Brown told Football Insider on 1 July that Man United are close to signing Mbeumo and remain in behind-the-scenes talks with Brentford about a final fee.
