Jamal Musiala and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg respond to Eric Dier’s emotional Bayern Munich message
Jamal Musiala and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg have both responded to an emotional message posted by Eric Dier.
The former Tottenham man is set to leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season alongside club legend Thomas Muller.
Vincent Kompany’s men have enjoyed a successful season, clinching the Bundesliga title while England record goalscorer Harry Kane finally got his hands on silverware.
Bayern are set to face Hoffenheim on Saturday, 17 May, which will mark Dier’s last game with the Bavarian giants.

The defender took to Instagram [14 May] to wave goodbye to Kompany’s side as he wrote: “I just want to say a big thank you to the club, the staff, my teammates and of course the fans for this moment, it really meant a lot to me and I’m very grateful for it. It’s been with huge pride that I’ve played in red at this special place.”
Both Bayern teammate Musiala and former Tottenham colleague Hojbjerg responded as the Germany international wrote: “All the best” while the ex-Spurs man commented with a clapping hands emoji.
Kane faces Bayern future decision after winning Bundesliga title
After failing to win silverware with Tottenham, both Kane and Dier have clinched the Bundesliga title in their second season with the Bavarian club.
The striker has been rewarded for his goal-scoring efforts over the years by winning his first trophy, while he has enjoyed a stellar individual campaign, notching 37 goals and 10 assists in 45 appearances in all competitions.
After being central to such success under Kompany, Kane may be intent on remaining with Bayern, who he can help battle for more trophies, including the Champions League, next term.
But now that he has won the Bundesliga title, the Englishman could also have his sights set on a Premier League return.
Before joining Bayern, Kane scored 213 goals in the English top-flight, and could be tempted to try and beat Alan Shearer’s record of 260 Premier League strikes.
The striker turns 32 in July, and may have to return to England swiftly if he wants to better Shearer’s accolade.
