‘Jamie Vardy tipped for ex-Leicester boss reunion amid Wolves move update’
Jamie Vardy will leave Leicester City at the end of this season and could be set to join up with one of his former managers.
The 38-year-old has been with the club since 2012, and famously fired the Foxes to an improbable Premier League title in 2016.
Vardy has scored eight goals and picked up four assists during Leicester’s dismal campaign, which saw them relegated back down to the Championship with five games still remaining.
The Midlands-based side have only picked up 22 points so far this season, and have won just one of their last 14 games in all competitions.
Ruud van Nistelrooy looks set to be sacked by Leicester, as they prepare for another season in the second tier.

Vardy may make switch to MLS
Vardy is adamant that he wants to continue his playing career, and he has proved this season that he can still score goals at the top level.
However he may struggle to find a Premier League club that require his services, so a switch to America could be on the cards.

BBC Sport’s (13 May) Nick Mashiter has reported that the former England international forged a great relationship with Dean Smith, who now manages Charlotte FC in the MLS, while he was in charge of the Foxes two years ago.
Smith was eager to sign Vardy last summer, so there is potential that the former Villa and Leicester boss goes back in for the forward.
Mashiter added that there is no chance that the Leicester captain will be joining Wolves.

Vardy: Premier League legend
Football Insider Verdict
It has been suggested that Leicester were trying to get rid of Vardy for years, and that the striker’s exit has come as no surprise.
If that is the case, then it is a shame that the Foxes have forced one of their greatest ever players out of the club.
Vardy is undoubtedly a Premier League legend, and even holds the record for the longest consecutive scoring run, finding the net for 11 games in a row during that infamous title-winning season.
He has brought searing pace and tenacity whenever he’s stepped on the pitch, and his finishing ability is severely underrated.
The Englishman has scored 199 top-flight goals and will be hoping to bring up his double century in one of Leicester’s final two games this season.
