Jan Molby believes Adam Lallana has “undergone quite a transformation” under Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.
Reds legend Molby stated that the 28-year-old has become more positive on the ball in recent times and praised the impact he is having on the team.
Midfielder Lallana has scored two goals and provided one assist in five Premier League games this term for Klopp’s side.
Molby, a former midfielder delivered high praise of Lallana and singled out the England international from fellow teammates Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino.
“For me Adam Lallana has undergone quite a transformation,” Molby wrote in his column for the Liverpool Echo.
“It’s gone from seeing him getting the ball and knowing nothing would happen to seeing every time he’s on the ball he gives the right pass or does something positive.”
England international Lallana was signed by the Reds in 2014 by then-manager Brendan Rodgers for a fee of £25 million from Southampton.
Since his arrival the attacking midfielder has made 96 appearances for the Merseyside club scoring 15 goals and providing 13 assists.
Lallana will now be preparing to take on Hull City at Anfield on Saturday afternoon, as Klopp’s side aim to pick up another three points having picked up ten points from their opening five games.
