Celtic return to action – weather permitting – on Saturday when they face Morton in the Scottish Cup quarter-final at Celtic Park.
Even though the Bhoys will be big favourites for the game, Brendan Rodgers will want his side to go all out to win the match convincingly, for a number of reasons.
Firstly, a win would take the Hoops into the cup semi-final, and only two games away from a perhaps unique second consecutive domestic treble.
Secondly, he will want to keep up the winning run that was started in last week’s 2-0 victory over Aberdeen.
And thirdly, he will want the Bhoys to be prepared for the upcoming Old Firm derby on a winning note.
Nothing breeds confidence like winning, which is why the Hoops boss will be taking this game seriously.
The Hoops will be expected to make three changes from the side which defeated Aberdeen in a vitally important league victory.
