Jarrad Branthwaite ‘wants to join Man United’ after what fans saw v Everton
Man United fans are insisting Jarrad Branthwaite wants to join the club after what he did during the Premier League clash v Everton.
Ruben Amorim’s first home game as United boss saw his side take all three points in a 4-0 win, thanks to Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee scoring two goals each.
It was the opening goal, however, which caught the eyes of the home supporters as Rashford’s effort was turned in by Branthwaite, who had been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford.
The centre-back later lost possession when challenged by Amad Diallo, which led to Zirkzee’s goal.
Following his part in their victory, United fans are calling for the club to reignite their interest in the 22-year-old as they claimed he would be keen on the move.
Football Insider revealed on 15 November that Real Madrid are set to step up their interest in the defender due to an injury crisis at the Bernabeu.
However, United’s interest is also said to have lingered since the summer and they would be prepared to rival the Spanish giants for his signature.
As Everton continue to struggle both results-wise and financially, a move to Man United could be on the cards for Branthwaite, and the fans are now insisting it will happen.

Branthwaite turned in a below-par performance at Old Trafford, leading to questions over his reportedly high price tag and whether interested sides could be put off.
However, United fans are now demanding the club sign him to help resolve their own defensive issues, and it has been suggested that he wants to make the move.
