Jarrod Bowen loves it at West Ham after £150m transfer claim – expert
Jarrod Bowen has signed a “big” West Ham contract and his ties to the club are so strong it will take something special to prise him away.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former Irons and Scotland striker Frank McAvennie suggested a reported £150million valuation has priced the England forward out of any potential move.
HITC reported on 25th June that Tottenham made contact with the Hammers only to learn of the price tag that has been placed on Bowen.
The left-footed attacker scored 16 goals and supplied six assists last season in the Premier League alone, with his 44 matches in all competitions yielding 20 goals and 10 assists.
West Ham have priced Bowen out of a transfer
“If somebody wants him, they’ll come in for him,” McAvennie told Football Insider.
“Bowen’s a West Ham boy, he’s married to Danny Dyer’s daughter, he’s West Ham there through and through.
“If he’s happy, why not stay? It’s a Premier League club, they’re in the Premier League, they’re going to be staying there for a long time, they’re going to be playing the kind of football I think he wants to play.

“So I would hasten to suggest that he’s going to stay, I don’t know if someone will come in for £150million for him.
“I think that might price him out of the market, and he’s signed a big contract, so I don’t know; I think the boy’s settled.”
