‘Jarrod Bowen makes West Ham exit decision’ as ‘unique’ situation emerges
Jarrod Bowen has no plans to leave West Ham in the near future despite their struggles this season and interest from a number of top clubs.
That is according to former West Ham and Man United senior scout Mick Brown, who remains very well-connected within the game, as he exclusively told Football Insider that the 28-year-old happy and optimistic about the future under Nuno Espirito Santo.
West Ham drew 2-2 with Bournemouth last time out, are now unbeaten in their last three games and have climbed out of the relegation zone.
This comes after Football Insider revealed that Bowen could leave West Ham in the summer, but would only do so if the club suffered relegation.
Having made positive progress under Nuno so far, doubts about the winger’s future are beginning to fade, while he is determined to help the club reverse their fortunes.

Jarrod Bowen stance on West Ham exit revealed
Brown first told Football Insider in October 2024 that Bowen has no plans to leave West Ham, and his situation is not believed to have changed.
The former scout, who has a wealth of experience in top-level player recruitment after over a decade at Man United during their most successful period, insisted that Bowen is happy in East London given his “unique” relationship with the club.
“No, it’s very unlikely that Bowen will leave,” he told Football Insider.
“Under normal circumstances, I think he would be looking at moving away from West Ham.
“He’s more than good enough to play for one of the top sides, and he’s shown that while he’s been there even if the team have struggled.
“It’s something that would probably have to happen if their struggles continued, but they’ve made improvements recently and are moving away from relegation.
“The reason it hasn’t, it because he’s got a unique relationship with the club. He’s happy there, he’s married and settled there so he’s got those strong connections.
“He’s got a great relationship with the fans as well, so it would take something shocking for that to change, and I can’t see it happening.
“Bowen looks like he will stay at West Ham, help them recover from the position they’re in, and hopefully make some more progress.”
West Ham make plans to strengthen in January
Despite the speculation surrounding Bowen’s future, West Ham have no intentions of weakening their squad in January, and instead plan to strengthen.
Brown told Football Insider on 25 November that West Ham plan to upgrade on Max Kilman with the addition of a new centre-back when the window opens.
Matt Le Tissier warned Football Insider on 29 October that West Ham are too weak at centre-back after what has been a dismal start to the season in East London.

Nuno’s side have conceded 25 goals in 12 games so far this season, the second-worst defensive record in the league aside from bottom club Wolves.
As a result, the Hammers are eyeing a number of defensive options, as Brown told Football Insider on 18 November that West Ham want to sign Charlie Cresswell.
