Jarrod Bowen shares new injury update at West Ham
West Ham captain Jarrod Bowen has taken to social media to share an injury update after his most recent setback.
The 28-year-old fractured his foot in West Ham’s 5-0 Premier League defeat to league leaders Liverpool in their final game of 2024.
Bowen has missed their last five games, a run of three defeats, one draw, and one win across all competitions that saw Julen Lopetegui eventually sacked and replaced by Graham Potter.
The Premier League side are currently without a traditional number nine, with Michail Antonio, Niclas Fullkrug, and Bowen injured for extended periods.
Lorient forward Eli Junior Kroupi has emerged as a serious contender to help fill the void after Football Insider revealed West Ham have made an offer for the French wonderkid.

The England international had been key for West Ham before the injury, starting all 21 of his games across all competitions, scoring six goals, and providing four assists in his 1827 minutes of action.
Bowen took to Instagram to share a positive injury update with an image of himself seemingly training with his teammates.

Potter will face former club Chelsea for the first time since his return to management on Monday (February 3), hoping to get one over the club who sacked him after just eight months back in 2023.
West Ham remain in the bottom half of the Premier League table with seven wins, six draws, ten defeats, and 27 points from their 23 games.
