Jarrod Bowen’s stance on joining Tottenham revealed after West Ham exit news

Jarrod Bowen is receiving attention both from Tottenham and Liverpool yet the talisman remains committed to West Ham.

Having been the frequent saviour, it is unsurprising that West Ham are very reluctant to sell Bowen in the near future.

Sources told Football Insider that Liverpool have explored Bowen as a potential Mohamed Salah replacement, yet a deal looks unlikely to materialise.

However, with top Premier League clubs in pursuit, Bowen will certainly be tempted by the proposition of playing Champions League football, something the Hammers can certainly not provide right now.

West Ham determined to keep Bowen as the ‘heartbeat’ of the team despite Tottenham interest

As I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, the Irons are expected to turn down all advances from English top-flight clubs, including Spurs.

Sources told Football Insider that West Ham would only part with Bowen if they received an irresistible offer, yet no bids have been submitted that have satisfied their expectations.

The Lilywhites signed former teammate Mohammed Kudus in the summer, but it appears highly unlikely the England international would follow suit and head to north London.

Speaking on the Inside Track podcast, I explained: “He’s probably the one and only untouchable player in that squad right now.

“I think most other players that are in that squad would be for sale at the right price as well, but Bowen is the heartbeat of that West Ham team.

“They need to keep him and Jarrod will be looking to build his team around him. He’s on a long-term contract until 2030, so it’s not like West Ham are under any real pressure to sell Jarrod Bowen as well.

“But, no surprise that clubs will be looking at him. Tottenham, Liverpool because even in that struggling side, he still scores goals and he’s a proven Premier League player.”

West Ham fighting to keep Mohamadou Kante as Championship sides circle

Whilst Nuno Espirito Santo is doing everything to keep his integral senior players in east London, attention will also need to be given to protecting the future of the club as well.

Sources told Football Insider that several Championship clubs are interested in signing Mohamadou Kante.

The 20-year-old is currently honing his craft in the Under-21s and is seen as the future of the Irons’ midfield.

Signed from Paris FC in August 2024, the Frenchman has scored four goals and notched three assists in 13 appearances, highlighting his exciting potential.
