Jayden Bogle sends ‘unbelievable’ Leeds message as ‘smokey’ Ramazani reacts
Leeds United’s late-season surge towards promotion has seen Jayden Bogle take his game to the next level at Elland Road.
The Whites’ place in the Premier League next season is already assured with one match left to play in the Championship, and Elland Road was at its fervent best in Leeds‘ final home game against Bristol City.
Monday’s match saw Daniel Farke‘s side cut loose with the shackles off; with four goals scored, 11 big chances created in total and the lion’s share of possession as fifth-placed Bristol City were swept aside.
Ao Tanaka and Wilfried Gnonto’s goals either side of half-time saw both produce composed finishes from Manor Solomon and Joel Piroe’s passes, before Largie Ramazani netted a brace off the bench.

Ramazani responds to ‘incredible’ Jayden Bogle verdict at Leeds
Ramazani’s late pair of goals – the first scored barely 60 seconds after he replaced Gnonto in the 81st minute – added deserved polish for a dominant Leeds, who have now netted 93 times this season.
Bogle’s performances down the right have impressed Leeds fans right from the off this season, and he’s contributed heavily to United’s tally – by far the highest in the league – with six goals and four assists.
Player | Appearances | Starts | Goals | Assists | Clean Sheets | Yellow/Red Cards |
Jayden Bogle | 44 | 43 | 6 | 4 | 23 | 12 |
The 24-year-old didn’t manage a goal or assist against Bristol City, but amid a sea of yellow and white at Elland Road as Leeds celebrated promotion, he posted on Instagram with a message to the home fans.
Bogle said: “Last night WOW! The atmosphere from start to finish was unbelievable. The support throughout the whole season has been incredible & we’ve got 1 more to go!”
Leeds’ 2020 promotion talisman Kalvin Phillips liked Bogle’s post, while two-goal hero Ramazani acknowledged Bogle’s performances this term to say: “Smokey down that right side.”
Bogle provides Leeds Premier League-ready option for Leeds
Leeds fans feared that they’d struggle to replace the sheer quality of academy product Archie Gray at right-back, but Bogle’s more natural instincts in the position have taken Farke’s attack to another level.
Football Insider revealed on 11 April that Leeds chiefs see six members of Farke’s squad as ready-made for the Premier League, and Bogle has justified his inclusion in that number with his displays of late.
Big plans are already in the pipeline at Elland Road as Leeds prepare to attack the Premier League with all their might in an effort to establish themselves, and with Bogle on the right, they’ve already got one of the division’s most dangerous attack-minded full-backs.
