Sky Sports presenter Jeff Stelling panned Leeds midfielder Kalvin Phillips during his sides 1-1 draw with Fulham in the Championship on Tuesday night.

The Soccer Saturday presenter can be seen in this video repeatedly telling the 21-year-old, during the live broadcast on Sky, to “get off the pitch” after he was sent off within minutes left on the clock.

Garry Monk’s side were leading the contest 1-0 at the time when Phillips was clearly using up time by slowly walking off the pitch and asking the officials which way to go.

Despite his time wasting, the home team struck deep into stoppage time when a brilliant curling effort from playmaker Tom Cairney rescued a late draw for the hosts.

Presenter Stelling then screamed with delight when Cairney scored his goal as the promotion-chasing duo shared a valuable point.

That point at Craven Cottage leaves Monk’s side remain in fourth place on 65 points from their 36 matches, eight points ahead of seventh-placed Fulham, who have a game in hand.

There are ten games of the Championship season remaining and Monk will know a positive end to the campaign will more than likely see them secure a top six finish.

Phillips will be unavailable for the club’s weekend encounter against Ian Holloway’s QPR on Saturday afternoon as the London club look to cause an upset in Yorkshire.
