Jesurun Rak-Sakyi agreement reached as Celtic transfer race reaches conclusion
Crystal Palace starlet Jesurun Rak-Sakyi is set to join Stoke City on loan despite previous reports of Celtic’s interest in his signature.
Palace youngster Rak-Sakyi has been at the centre of a transfer tug-of-war this month after numerous clubs in the UK and abroad registered their interest in his services.
He registered seven goals and two assists in 36 games for Sheffield United last season, while he notched four goals in 13 appearances for Super Lig side Rizespor in the first half of this campaign before being recalled to Selhurst Park.
Rak-Sakyi was close to joining Swansea City last month before a deal fell through at the last minute, with several other sides aiming to land him following that development.
Football Insider revealed that Celtic were battling Stoke for Rak-Sakyi’s services, with the latter believed to be leading the chase, and it looks as if the Championship side have now emerged victorious.

Stoke agree loan deal for Jesurun Rak-Sakyi ahead of Celtic
According to a new report from Sky Sports, Stoke have agreed a loan deal for Rak-Sakyi that does not including any option or obligation to buy.
The 23-year-old has been Celtic‘s radar, alongside other teams such as Monaco, Lille and Millwall in this window.
He will join a Potters side that sit 12th in the Championship at this moment in time, following a run of four games without a win.
Celtic have rejected new Arne Engels bid from Nottingham Forest
Celtic are planning to add to Martin O’Neill‘s squad on Deadline Day as they hunt down league leaders Hearts, and will certainly not want to lose any of their key players ahead of the latter stages of the season.
Football Insider revealed last month that RB Leipzig were interested in Engels, who has registered five goals and seven assists in 37 appearances this season for the Hoops.

They are now facing a real threat in the latter stages of the window, with Nottingham Forest approaching Celtic over a move for Engels with a bid of around £17.3million, which has been rejected.
Even though the club will clearly be reluctant to let him leave, many Bhoys supporters believe that the Belgian midfielder will be allowed to leave if the Premier League side stump up around £25m.
